I was looking for someone to value and assess my diamond after wanting to buy it loose. Despite the website saying they do valuations for 65 I got a curt email saying they dont. That diamond fell through and so VJ was one of the jewellers I contacted to ask if they could source a diamond. Got another email saying no. That was fine as possibly something they dont do however the bluntness of the mail was a little annoying. Really not sure why I keep going back despite the rudeness but having now acquired a diamond I asked if they did bespoke ring design. Not even the courtesy of a reply. I wish

Unfortunately, after having previously given this company a 5 star review for their sales experience, I am sorry to say that their aftercare service is nothing short of appalling ! It is a real shame that I am having to post this review, as I really like to support independent businesses, however after contacting Victoria James about a gem falling out of our daughter's ring (which we had Victoria James make for her 2 years ago however has only been wearing for exactly 1 month as she is now old enough for it to fit her and to be able to wear it responsibly), the response we have had back has left

The only reason I wouldnt give it 5 stars is because I was really disappointed that when I asked if they could clean my engagement ring & wedding ring they just dipped them. I was spending 4000 with them so asked again after disappointing the rings werent any better and the assistant then agreed to do them. They then came out beautiful! Other issue is after 3 months I was still waiting for valuation certificate which I had to ring up for and it wasnt valued as much as they originally told me it would be? A little disappointed! Very polite staff.

I took my 1970s Tiffany engagement ring here for a repair and diamond replacement. It was quite a journey but worth every moment. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and sympathetic. I can't even tell which diamond has been replaced. It's incredible! I would definitely recommend Victoria James.

Amazing service!... the clasp on my gold bracelet had broken and a work colleague had to it cut with bolt cutters to remove it from my wrist. So you can imagine the damage that had been caused, it has great sentimental value and I was so worried that it was beyond repair, Thankfully I came across Victoria James and the magician that is Geoff !. It was like a moment from The Repair Shop when I went to collect it, this had been more of a restoration than repair, I was overwhelmed that it was back to new again!.
