Yes, we are open all day and will be happy to answer your call if you need to contact us during your lunch break. Yes, we have a large car park at the front of the practice which is available for patients to use when they visit us. We see children under the age of sixteen for an examination free of charge as long as they are seen within a parents appointment.

Saffina graduated from the University of Manchester in 2003. Having worked within general practice, hospital and community dental clinics both in the UK and Australia, she has a broad range of experience in treating patients with complex medical and dental needs. In 2006 she was successful in achieving Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) and a certificate in conscious sedation from the Royal College of Surgeons, England.

We recognise that prevention is far better than cure and that is why at Charminster House Dental Practice we will encourage you to have regular examinations and to maintain an excellent level of oral hygiene. The interval we will advise between your examinations will be dependent upon the status of your teeth and gums, your susceptibility to dental decay and or gum disease, as well as any individual risk factors that you may have.

Gum disease is the most common cause of tooth loss in the adult population. If you have any of these signs or symptoms you can ask your dentist to refer you to us, or alternatively we are happy to see you without a referral. Treatment of periodontitis is very successful in keeping teeth.
