I love working with children because no day is the same, everyday is more interesting as the last. The impact that we as adults can make on children's lives is incredible, just to see how much they learn and grow over the years within our care.
I enjoy working with children as it such a privilege to help watch them grow and develop into young independent girls and boys they are today and I am blessed to have been involved with so many children's lives already whilst they are at a nursery.I love working with children as I enjoy getting to know them individually - discovering what they like.

Babies
Report
Our babies enjoy lots of cuddles and re-assurance throughout the day. They play with toys and sensory equipment which encourages their early stages of development. Lots of singing, reading and one to one conversations results in a day of fun as they improve their communication skills and build relationships.
Toddlers

The children are much more confident, enthusiastic and keen to 'get going' to burn off all their energy exploring their environment and especially the outdoors. Our Early Leaners love singing, dancing and listening to stories which are a vital part of their day as well as early literacy and numeracy activities such as sorting shapes and sizes which encourage the children's mathematical and language development.
Preschool

There is a more structured approach in our pre-school room where our aim is to create a learning environment where the atmosphere is informal and fun. The equipment provided has been carefully chosen to enable children to learn through their play, build on their team work skills and also to develop a growing confidence and independence.
Outdoors

No cabin fever here at Bluestone, where we like to get outdoors with the children as much as possible - come rain, come shine! This is not just a place for the children to let off steam - free play is very important for children's wellbeing - but also a place where we can bring learning to life in different ways to indoors.
