Imagine hiring a solicitor to assist with a perfectly ordinary flat sale, only to discover you've mistakenly hired the legal equivalent of a broken fax machine wearing a tie. Raeside Chisholm took what should have been a routine conveyancing task and alchemised it into a theatre of the absurd. Despite providing legally valid information under the Tenements (Scotland) Act 2004 they demanded that every resident in the tenement personally verify the sky is blue before accepting my statement.
Ever tried herding cats?? Now try getting unanimous written agreement from ten Glaswegian property owners while your solicitor fires confidential emails into the void like carrier pigeons with a grudge. They breached confidentiality, ignored urgent communications, and treated statutory clarity like a cryptic crossword puzzle they couldnt be bothered to solve. I was left chasing shadows, rewriting reality, and wondering if this firm operates from a parallel dimension where logic is madness.
In short: if you value your sanity, your time, or the idea that lawyers should be able to read legislation and use email responsibly, steer as far from Raeside Chisholm as you can. Possibly into the sea.

Can only say good things about the service provided by Raeside Chisholm solicitors,we first contacted them a year ago and asked for their prices and information on how things worked - we were first time buyers- Claire Reid came back with all answers and once we had found a property we liked we asked for an offer to be our forward, unfortunately on that property other higher offers were made and we did not get the house, now a year later, we came back and got to speak again with the same person , Claire, which I thought was a good thing , we found a property and put an offer which was accepted,
