Billy Gills cottage is named after William Gill who had the buildings in his family for over 100 years and spent its life as a drapers, outfitters. It's the ideal self-catering holiday cottage situated in Swaledale. We have recently renovated this lovely cottage to provide luxury accommodation for couples.

Welcome to our shepherds hut here in beautiful Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The hut is located in a secluded location with far reaching views of the valley. There is a short walk on a steep slope to get to the hut, however we're sure you'll agree it's worth the effort for the privacy and views.

Places to visit in Swaledale, amble around the many pretty villages with names such as Crackpot and Muker. Walk along the cobbled streets and visit speciality shops and markets selling local cheeses, beers, breads etc. Places to visit in Swaledale include some of the local farms and in the spring you can be lucky to see the lambs been born.
