Host weddings and events in our three beautifully restored 17th-century barns with exclusive use of grounds. The Essex Barn accommodates 150 guests for meals and 200 for evening celebrations, while the Hay Barn and Saddlery provide flexible ceremony spaces. Our venue combines historic charm with modern amenities, offering a unique setting for memorable occasions.
Accommodation
Enjoy purpose-built wedding accommodations including the Old Coach House for pre-wedding preparations and the Stable Cottage for newlyweds. Additional guest rooms in The Tack Room, Carpenters Shop and Horse Box provide comfortable overnight stays for wedding parties, all featuring modern amenities and convenient proximity to ceremony locations.

Questions
What wedding guest capacities do you accommodate?
We host 50-150 guests for ceremonies and meals, with evening celebrations accommodating up to 200 guests. Minimum requirement of 50 adult day guests applies for wedding breakfasts.
Can we use our own caterers?
Yes, our dry hire option allows preferred caterers with appropriate 5* food hygiene ratings and insurance. We also offer in-house catering through our trusted partner Waters Edge Catering.
What time can we access the venue?
Wedding parties and suppliers gain access from 9am on the event day for setup. Exclusive use allows full preparation time before ceremonies starting at your chosen time.
Are children and pets welcome?
Children are welcome with parental supervision. Well-behaved dogs on leads can participate in ceremonies and photographs, subject to prior arrangement.
Do you offer overnight parking?
Yes, we provide secure overnight parking available from 9am-12pm the following day. Vehicles must be collected within this timeframe.
Are there any seasonal restrictions?
We don't host weddings in January and February but remain available for viewings and planning meetings during these months.

What a lovely venue! The place is a delight and the staff are great and made the whole evening run like clockwork. The food was delicious too. Ideal place for a stylish, relaxed wedding.

We originally booked our Wedding at Blake Hall for May 2020. We fell in love with the venue when we first visited. The grounds and barns are always well tended to, and each part of the venue is beautiful. Due to government restrictions on Weddings, we postponed our Wedding on three occasiosn. The staff at Blake Hall could not have been more supportive and flexible at each stage. We really felt valued as a couple. The day itself was absolutely amazing, and the staff could not have done more for us to help with the smooth running of the day. They were also really attentive to any requests made

What a fantastic venue!! Was so special for a wedding!!! My Cousin and his beautiful now Wife married there on Thursday and it was such a beautiful day!! Staff were all brilliant and couldn't be more helpful!! The food and service were great and bar staff so friendly and kind. The barns for the ceremony and evening reception were beautiful - such a beautiful venue!! They were incredibly lucky with the weather on the day and the lawn games that were booked and organised were amazing and so much fun! Perfect amount of space. I was also lucky enough to stay in the cottage next door at the venue

Attended a family wedding. Blake Hall is absolutely stunning place to look at. One drawback not the easiest to get to if you don't drive (taxis will pick up) but wouldn't stop me attending again if ever there was the opportunity. Shame only can give five stars!!
