I took my son out today for his birthday to this pub Inn The Pond, for a nice evening meal. Service was great but the food was absolutely RUBBISH and pricey. I wouldnt mind paying for an expensive meal if the food was half decent. It seems like the food was cooked from frozen. The steak was over cooked and I had venison pie and meat was was so dry, my jaws were hurting, and I disliked the frozen foods that was heated up.
NEVER eat here again that for sure. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Nice, friendly, family pub with dogs welcome... would never have known it was there until I found it on Google search (it's quite hidden too). Great variety of food, lots of different tastes catered for. When one of the waitresses came to take our order she asked if either of us were vegan, vegetarian or had any food allergies which I'd not experienced quite like that before. I thought it was a nice touch. The food was so tasty - we had a ploughman's, served with a warm baguette. Nice areas outside to sit if you wish too... but also a nice space to take the dog for a walk or quick runabout afterwards
