Here at Fosters' Dental we are proud to provide high quality NHS dentistry to our patients in Rotherham. Currently we are not accepting new NHS patients, however if you would like to be seen at Fosters' we are glad to welcome you to the Practice on a private basis. The charge for NHS dental care is dependant on what treatment, if any, needs to be done to keep your mouth healthy. There will only be one charge per course of treatment, this is not dependant on how many visits it takes to the dentist or hygineist.

A band 1 course of treatment covers your dental examination, in which care is taken to assess the health of your teeth and your gums, We also screen for oral cancers and check the function of your jaw joint.At this visit we will assess your oral hygiene and make suggestions based on your individual need.

There are many different benefits available, some qualify you for free or reduced cost NHS dental treatment, some do not. Please take a moment to read the information on NHS dental charge exemptions below. Making an incorrect claim could result in a 100 penalty. If after reading this you are still unsure, please ask a member of our Reception team who will be able to assist you.

As part of our continuing effort to improve services, at each visit you have the oppertunity to complete the NHS Friends and Family Test. This is an annonymous survey about your experiences here at Fosters Dental and any feedback, comments or ideas on how we can improve are greatly appreciated. For non-emergency requests, please leave a message on our answer phone and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

If two or more consecutive appointments are missed, cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or are attended late, we may not be able to complete your NHS treatment or offer you appointments in the future.
