Advice for first time buyers
Report
At Hoole and Co. we are specialists in conveyancing and we deal with many transactions for first time buyers. We understand that buying your first home is a big commitment and we will take the time to ensure that you understand what is happening during the conveyancing process and we will try to keep the legal jargon to a minimum.
Buying a freehold
Report
Many properties in the UK are leasehold. If you own a property that is leasehold you will be liable to pay ground rent to the landlord on an annual basis. These restrictions can take many forms but common ones which can cause problems are when you want to make changes to your property, such as building an extension, or even smaller changes such as putting up a satellite dish.
Conveyancing disbursements and jargon explained

Sometimes during the process of moving home, or other property transactions, you will come across a number of legal terms which relate to the conveyancing process. At Hoole and Co. we will always try and minimise the use of jargon, however, when it is unavoidable we are always happy to explain these terms to you.
