We supply and install custom-made timber windows in various styles, including sash, casement, and tilt-and-turn designs. Our windows combine traditional craftsmanship with modern energy efficiency, using sustainably sourced hardwoods and modified softwoods. Each product is tailored to enhance your property's aesthetics while ensuring durability and thermal performance.
Timber Doors
Our timber doors include entrance, French, bi-fold, and stable door styles, crafted to complement both traditional and contemporary homes. Using FSC-certified materials and advanced manufacturing techniques, we deliver doors that offer security, insulation, and long-term value, with options for bespoke finishes and glazing.
Conservatories
We design and build timber-framed conservatories that blend seamlessly with existing architecture. Our structures feature high-performance glazing and durable joinery, creating versatile living spaces that maximise natural light while maintaining thermal efficiency and structural integrity.
Stained Glass in Windows
Our stained glass services include restoration of original designs and creation of new bespoke patterns. Using traditional techniques, we integrate decorative glass into timber windows to add character and historical authenticity to period properties while meeting modern safety standards.
Alternative to Timber Windows
The Blackthorn Choices range offers non-timber alternatives like composite flush casements and aluminium Crittal-style windows. These products replicate the aesthetic of traditional timber with the low maintenance benefits of uPVC and aluminium, providing durable, energy-efficient solutions for heritage and contemporary properties.

Critical:Quality,Value
I spent a lot of money on windows. within under a year the brass work started to tarnish, no furniture to enable the top sash to be pulled open and at least 4 windows the top sash is stuck shut, I can only open them if I go outside and hit the sash quite hard to unstick it. Not impressed.

They don't answer emails. They don't respond to phone calls. This is when you're trying to give them work. Imagine what they would be like once they have your money.

Please beware and please think twice about using this firm. I had doors and windows supplied and fitted to our home by Blackthorn, the project began in February 2018 and took 8 months to complete. Their suppliers are amateurs, their timescales are laughable, and overall this was an incredibly frustrating experience from start to finish. Think again, and take your hard earned money elsewhere.
