As soon as a client contacts us to engage us to assist them in their move we offer a fully written estimate that breaks down all of the costs and explains what those costs represent.

Whether you are buying your first home or selling a property we offer efficient conveyancing services at very competitive rates. We can also assist with mortgages and re-mortgages, Transfers of Equity and other property transactions. We are aware that our charges will be an important consideration for you.

Once the sale of your property has been agreed your estate agent will forward any relevant paperwork to Alfred Ledger & Sons. We will provide you with a simple instruction form which will enable us to gather all of the required details about you and your house. Once all offers you accept a satisfactory offer instruct the agent to take the property off the market.

We work with a number of leading estate agents and introducers throughout the local area. The companies support us in our marketing services and this support's value is reflected in what are called 'referral fees' of up to 100. This is a fee paid by Alfred Ledger & Sons and is never an additional cost to clients.

This is when a legal relationship is created between the Seller and Buyer, often referred to as the "point of no return" i.e. it is not easy to change your mind. Until such either party can withdrawn from the transaction with out penalty. Therefore we can only exchange contracts when we consider that the title of the property is satisfactory.
