So Ive stayed here with work on and off for the last 3 years. I have now spent a weekend with the Mrs here. It is PERFECT!! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Spacious rooms, clean and tidy. Just right for a weekend away. Then comes the foodthat is amazing, never had such consistently good food - from breakfast to dinner, all spot on. Andy the bar man is the most friendly and pleasant man!! Well done - keep it up!!

A really friendly staff who are only too happy to help. Lovely comfy room with everything needed for a weekend stay. We had a delicious evening meal and a great breakfast too in the morning. Thank you ,we had a wonderful family get together.

I am giving The Angel hotel only three starts where we spent 2 night for a family get together (11 of us) a wonderful review for service, attentive staff, food and location. Unfortunately the rooms (I visited 3 of the 7) we booked had unclean windows with dust and grime window seals that must have been left for months. Please do check these asap and clean both the windows and net curtains on the 1st floor.
Otherwise: thank you to the reception, bar and restaurant staff.

The room was comfortable and clean, the real difference with this hotel is the staff, who were friendly and very helpful when the battery on my motorcycle died overnight. 5* service!
