N B Clark's first work was carried out in the mid 60's by Norman Braithwaite Clark following his move down to Morpeth from his home town of Branxton in Northumberland to work for William Leech in the period of building Kirkhill and Loansdean estates in Morpeth. He then took the decision to carry out works for customers and N B Clark was formed in 1965.
He then went on to carry out various building projects for local people in the Morpeth area and built up a good reputation. He set up new offices and yard in Coopies Lane Industrial Estate on a plot of land bought from the Council, in which we carried out operations from there until 2006, when we moved to new purpose built premises along the road in Coopies Haugh.
