Strange welcome, they got us to sit down in the main room without any explanation whatsoever, they then asked us to order a drink and gave us a menu, I had to ask if we would be eating in the sofa but the answer was no. We finally got to sit down in one of the dining rooms which was lovely decorated. Food was good, very big portions, wine list was fine. If they had just explained the whole situation a bit better when we arrived it could have got a much better review

Stunning venue, beautifully decorated for Christmas. We ordered 4 afternoon teas for 5 and there was no problem. Delicious food, very well presented, lovely atmosphere

Me and my fiance made our annual pilgrimage to Lands of Loyal to see the Christmas tree, we were not disappointed. While we were there we took the opportunity to have a bit to eat and as per usual the food was excellent and the staff were amazing. We probably qualify as regulars now. Thank you so very much for everything.

A little bit of magic,in a hidden location. The staff are excellent attention to detail is second to none. The trainer for young staff in the hotel deserves a mention wow.. The fireplace with tea and scones in the afternoon.The evening meal and breakfast was outstanding.

I would Highly recommend this place. My husband and four friends stayed for two nights to celebrate my birthday. Food was excellent and staff was very friendly and helpful. Will certainly be going back. Thank you to everyone for making our stay pleasant.

Beautiful, secluded location. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Exceptional breakfast. Can recommend the wonderful smoked haddock and poached eggs. Dinner menu was varied with interesting dishes. Presentation very good and served in a lovely dining room. Totally relaxing couple of days.
