Lovely hotel. Beautiful room, very clean and well maintained. Only small downside was both pillows were really hard. My son had to sleep without them as they hurt his neck as too hard and high. Would be nice to have a softer one. Other than that, well be back.

Excellent service, food and drink as always. Comfortable rooms and great location. Missed the main ground floor bar on Sunday, but we cannot have evetything. Will be back.

Its not really a 4 star more a 3 star if you use hotels on a regular basis you will understand. Why dont you do afternoon snacks and teas in the restaurant ? Instead you direct potential customers to Costa 5 mins walk away. The breakfast is somewhat formulaic its very similar to one you could get at a premiere inn and not a 4 star

There wasn't a stay. Have no choice but to leave a review. Booked a stay in July for our anniversary in October. We were telephoned two days before our booking to say that they needed to cancel due to essential maintenance. Such things are booked and planned for in advance. They could offer a down graded room with "some extras" or another date. Our job doesn't permit another date, this is our anniversary and no mention of what "extras" would be. We have had a very difficult time recently with two close bereavements. This was something we have been looking forward to. We cannot find an alternative
