Services
Laser Cutting
Pressfab Engineering provides high-precision laser cutting services for various materials with dimensional accuracy up to 0.1mm. Our advanced Trumpf CNC laser systems handle sheet and plate material up to 3000mm x 1500mm, with maximum thickness of 20mm in mild steel, 12mm in stainless steel, and 8mm in aluminium. Our laser cutting services ensure minimal material waste and fast turnaround times while maintaining exceptional quality.
CNC Machining
Our CNC machining services offer tight tolerance manufacturing for complex components. We operate a comprehensive machine shop with horizontal and vertical CNC machining centres, including Cincinnati VMC 500, 750 and 1000 models. Capabilities include 5-axis machining to aerospace standards with maximum bed size of 1000mm x 500mm, enabling us to produce precision components from various materials including metals and specialist alloys.
CNC Punching
We provide high-speed CNC punching services for sheet metal components using our Trumpf TruPunch 1000 press. Capable of handling sheet thicknesses up to 6.4mm with up to 600 strokes per minute, our system produces simple shapes to complex 3D designs. We work with a wide range of metals including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass to deliver high productivity solutions.
Folding & Bending
Our metal folding and bending services utilise advanced press brake technology to handle a wide range of requirements. With capabilities up to 3 metres wide and 100 tonnes of force, we work with various metals including brass, copper and perspex. Our equipment portfolio includes Amada HD series machines and hydraulic presses enabling us to produce precise bends and complex shapes for single items or large production runs.
Welding & Fabrication
We offer comprehensive welding and fabrication services for simple fixtures to complex custom projects. Our capabilities include both robotic and manual MIG and TIG welding using advanced equipment from Kemppi and Miller. Our team works with clients across various industries to produce fabricated solutions from initial concept through to finished assembly, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout the fabrication process.

Our academic institution has been working with Pressfab for a number of years.
