New Years Eve Gala Dinner. What I believe to be one of those special occasions. Looking forward to a great night. Unfortunately these thoughts were not on the duty manager's list. From the moment I was shown to my table it became very clear customer service/ satisfaction was not at the top of the duty manager's list (Shaun) after addressing a few concerns (tables crammed in, not being able to access the seating and surrounded inches away from the band equipment - Other tables were positioned outside of toilets walk ways)

The staff are welcoming, professional and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is decoration is quirky and interesting but best of all, the food is just stunning!

Staff 5* from reception onwards smiles, polite, friendly & helpful, nothing a problem.
Dietary requirements dealt with expertly & without drama. Food 5* Fresh & excellent quality, presentation perfect,, taste superb. Breakfast & choices and staff exceptional. Room immaculate, clean, warm, everything we could need was provided Inc the important tea/ coffee tray. Beds 100% comfortable. Shower spotless, toiletries provided and sumptuous white towels. Again 5* all round. Excellent.

We had afternoon tea and evening drinks at Brockley Hall, which Id have given 5 stars for. Food and drinks quality was excellent, attentive and friendly service and a gorgeous, unique setting. Whilst our room was comfortable, it didnt feel quite up to the same standard. It was clean and had all the necessities, we were just so wowed by the rest of the place, it felt like a bit of a contrast. Having seen the loft rooms online, Id say its probably worth spending a bit extra in future.
