The older man who works there really needs to learn some manners. pushed past me twice whilst I was stood in one place looking at plants and didnt even say sorry.

Rude lady at the till, word of advice, if your coloured, do not visit this shop as they clearly don’t want your custom!

Popped in today for some plants to be met by an extremely rude lady at the till! Appears this shop does not appreciate darker customers as Ive heard similar experiences in the past from people of colour. Not surprising however is that the 5* reviewers happen to not be of colour. Learn some manners and try some politeness, it costs nothing.

I have just used this company for the first time for a large delivery of garden manure and compost and the service and value are absolutely excellent and I cannot recommend highly enough. I will definitely be using again.
Update - Four years on and I am still using John Maher every year for their excellent service and prices and now my friend has started using them too.
