CNC Machining
Our CNC machining division operates 3-4 axis milling, turning, and grinding machines to produce precision components for aerospace, rail, and medical sectors. With AS9100 Rev D certification, we maintain tolerances within 0.001mm using Autodesk FeatureCAM software. Our capabilities include manufacturing from 3D models or reverse-engineered components, with maximum milling capacity of 760x500x400mm and turning up to 500x750mm.
Laser Cutting
Our Bystronic Bystar 4020 laser system provides precision sheet metal cutting up to 4000x2000mm. Using CAD integration, we achieve tight tolerances in materials up to 25mm thick, including stainless steel, aluminium, and nickel alloys. The automated sheet loading system ensures efficient production while maintaining material integrity without notch marks or heat distortion.
Powder Coating
Our powder coating facility handles components up to 2x1.7x4.5m in RAL, BS, and FED-STD-595 finishes. With pre-treatment options including Alochrom and zinc phosphate, we ensure durable coatings for aerospace and defense applications. The computer-controlled oven guarantees consistent curing, while our test facility provides certification for critical military specifications.
Busbar Manufacturing
As an AS9100-approved busbar manufacturer, we produce copper, Cuponal, and insulated busbars with epoxy powder coating. Our capabilities include refurbishment of obsolete components and custom fabrication to exacting aerospace standards. The integrated quality control system ensures conductivity and mechanical performance meet international electrical specifications.
Obsolescence Solutions
Our reverse engineering team addresses component obsolescence through four strategies: stock supply, market sourcing, repair/rebuild, and build-to-print manufacturing. With access to 100 million components in UK warehouses and advanced metrology equipment, we recreate BER (Beyond Economic Repair) parts using 3D scanning and precision machining to original equipment manufacturer specifications.
