Hello, and thank you for your interest in our wonderful Nursery School. Our purpose built building offers space for our children to explore and includes open access to a large and exciting garden, which allows our children to have a free flow experience. Being a Maintained Nursery School we have the same statutory obligation as any other school, including having a Head teacher, teacher, and a Governing Body.

It means that your child has access to highly qualified practitioners committed to not only ensuring your child thrives with their learning, but also their personal development. Beccy is the proud headteacher at Wallace Road. She has been in education since 2001 and taught in nursery and primary. Beccy has always felt that early years is where she belongs, not only because she can let her inner child out, but mainly because she gets to work with the youngest minds and help them to have a life-long love of learning.

No, all children develop at differently and at varying rates. We do not expect children to be toilet trained. Whatever stage of toileting your child is at, we will work in partnership with you to support your child's needs. We celebrate the fact that our families speak many different languages. The best way to help your child is to build confidence in their home language.
