Peter holds Higher Rights of Audience in the Criminal & Civil Courts, he almost exclusively appears at the Crown Courts representing clients for the most serious & heinous allegations. Peter has dealt with many high profile cases both at Magistrate and the Crown court. He has extensive range experience of the full range of criminal law cases including; Drug Offences, Indecent Image cases, Burglary, Robbery, Assault, Conspiracies and Breaches.

Stephen founded Morton's Solicitors along with his son, Simon Morton in 1996. Stephen was a well-known and respected figure of Manchester legal society for many years. He was a quick-witted, intelligent man with a big personality. He was a skilled advocate and fought every case tooth and nail. Stephen retired in 2004 when Simon and Lisa Morton (then Gibson) took over the practice and Morton's was incorporated.
