Another place which did not want my custom all we wanted was a Wednesday lunchtime drink in the sun was told not open to non residents. Do these places want to earn some money or not? Anyway suggest going to the Plume of Feathers in Portscatho where the welcome was warm and friendly and it was packed out too. Take a note

Went to the quarterdeck restaurant in the Narefor a friend's Birthday and was surprised when I looked at the fairly limited menu and very little without fish. Luckily I love fish and started with the Thai crab cakes which were really nice! For my main I had half a lobster with potatoes and a salad. the lobster had been pre-removed from the shell and covered in garlic butter and was absolutely delicious! Finally I had the dessert of the day which was a sort of fruit mouse which was also delicious! I had an excellent lunch with the only thing being the lack of choice on the menu. Is was expensive

Looks lovely and great location but not open to non-residents if you're looking for a drink/lunch. Probably one to avoid for the foreseeable and pick one of the many in the area that are.

First day for eating inside and a reason to celebrate. Although only lunch and not overnight this visit, you provided the best of service and a delicious lunch. Thank you. Please may I have your recipe for white onion soup. it's glorious.
