Food is at the heart of The Frenchgate. Our Georgian dining room is both relaxed and stylish, with an eclectic mix of traditional oak tables (including Granny Todd's) and chairs, set on original, fully restored, boards. Sophisticated lighting, fine crockery, cutlery and glassware enhance the contemporary but stylish feel.

We have grown from a little 2 Star Hotel to the 4 Star Hotel of today together with our famous restaurant awarded 2 Rosettes for the past 10 years.
