We hope that both our existing patients and any potential new clients to the practice will enjoy visiting this site. In 1989, the husband and wife team of Jette and Steven Holbrook set up the practice and over the years have built and excellent reputation of delivering high quality, patient-centred, bespoke dental treatment.

The breadth of treatment we offer at Holbrook Dental Practice simply cannot be listed on one webpage. However, we have listed some of our common procedures here for your information. Gum disease is caused by a build-up of plaque on the teeth - a tooth coloured sticky substance made up of bacteria. Sometimes, damage or decay gets deep into a tooth and can affect the living, soft pulp tissue in the middle.
Fees & Payment Plans

We accept cash, debit and credit cards. We ask that you settle your account at the end of each appointment or when asked by Reception. For larger courses of treatment we ask that 50% is paid at the first visit and 50% on completion. Club Membership Plan allows Patients to spread the cost of their standard annual treatment over 12 monthly instalments paid by direct debit.
Teeth Whitening

Everyday life takes its toll on our teeth. Drinking too much tea or coffee, smoking or even eating strongly coloured foods can stain and discolour them. There are toothpastes available which will help remove these stains, but they can't change the actual colour of the tooth underneath. The colour of the teeth is determined by your DNA, just like the colour of your hair or your eyes.
Root canal treatment

Sometimes, damage or decay gets deep into a tooth and can affect the living, soft 'pulp' tissue in the middle. If left unchecked, this can result in severe toothache, an abscess or mean that the tooth has to be removed. Sometimes any infection present can drain itself into the gum, this is known as a sinus (see picture).
