Pamela studied for a Computer Science degree at Newcastle University. Upon graduating she joined a local firm of Chartered Accountants to gain her professional qualification. She stayed with the practice for thirteen years, moving from junior to partner in that time. In 1991 she founded Clarke's Chartered Accountants.
