Yates Ardern was established in the 1940's and is one of the most respected practices in the country. We have been successfully defending clients in investigations, prosecutions and hearings before professional disciplinary panels.

We have specialised departments with trained lawyers to represent in investigations, prosecutions before the Magistrates and Crown Courts and an appeal department specialising in appeals in the Crown Court, Court of Appeal and before the Criminal Case Review Commission.We have other specialist lawyers representing clients in prison law and representing professionals (Doctors, Teachers, Dentists, Nurses, Lawyers) before disciplinary hearings.
Fees

We offer fixed fees wherever possible but in some cases we may have to operate on the basis of an hourly rate. The estimates quoted below are based on the matter concluding after representation at Court where the hearing has been designated for a trial listed for one day. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT and disbursements and travel.
Directors Disqualification

At Yates Ardern our business team have built an enviable reputation in advising and assisting directors and professionals who are the subject of investigations or prosecutions. A director can be disqualified for up to 15 years. The Companies Act can appoint a special investigator who has the authority to compel directors to produce documents or other information relating to the company.
