Services
Our services are designed for houses, rented flats, farm buildings, workshops and small commercial units, covering both everyday electrical requirements and larger installations. We undertake small hourly jobs, fault finding, EICRs, rewires, board upgrades, EV charger fitting, solar and battery systems, and rural supplies. Bigger work is assessed through a free survey before a written fixed price is issued.
For properties throughout Aberdeenshire, we offer professional EICR inspection and testing for domestic and rural electrical installations. Our service covers houses, rented flats, HMOs, holiday lets, farmhouses and steadings, with the report provided for tenancy, licence, buyer or insurer requirements. Pricing starts with the main board and first five circuits, while separate boards and further circuits incur additional charges.
Our approach to electrical maintenance focuses on preventing faults, supporting safety and maintaining system efficiency. Through regular inspections, we examine wiring, outlets, circuit breakers and other components for signs of damage, wear or malfunction. Where necessary, we can upgrade outdated wiring and consumer units, install modern circuit breakers and establish maintenance plans around individual electrical needs.
We offer professional fuse box upgrades for domestic properties, farmhouses and rental homes, replacing older boards and consumer units following appropriate inspection and testing. The starting price for a typical domestic board is 550 + VAT, with larger installations costing up to about 950 + VAT. Additional requirements identified during the survey are assessed before the price is agreed. On completion, all circuits are tested and an Electrical Installation Certificate is issued.
Our service is designed for houses, flats and rented homes requiring either a full or partial rewire. We replace old circuits with new cable, install standard white accessories and provide a new consumer unit as part of a full rewire. Following comprehensive testing, we provide an Electrical Installation Certificate in accordance with BS 7671:2018+A4:2026.
We specialise in creating outdoor lighting schemes that add visual appeal while supporting safety and functionality. Carefully positioned landscape, accent and spot lighting can give gardens and other exterior areas greater depth and dimension. Our pathway, driveway and security lighting options improve visibility and protection. For commercial and industrial properties, we provide high-performance solutions tailored to individual requirements.
We provide professionally installed 7.4kW smart EV chargers for properties across Aberdeenshire, with installation prices beginning at 900 + VAT. Our standard provision includes up to 15 metres of cable, with longer routes to garages and outbuildings considered where required. A free survey examines the property's earthing, electrical supply and cable route. Standard installations are typically booked 5 to 10 working days in advance.
We design and install solar panel systems for homes, farms and small businesses, with fully installed prices starting from 7,000 for 3 to 4kWp. Our service includes a free roof survey, a fixed written quotation and professional installation, usually completed within one to two days for homes. We also provide systems with battery storage where required.
We carry out commercial electrical installations, testing, maintenance and repairs for business premises. Our services include office and retail fit outs, three phase supplies, commercial lighting, emergency lighting and planned electrical maintenance. We also undertake workplace EV charging, PAT testing and fault finding. A free survey is followed by a written scope and fixed-price quotation for the required work.

Steven was at our house 10 minutes after the call, and continued the next day to resolve our electrical fault. Although he was very busy, he committed to working on our house Saturday. He managed to fix a fault which had been bothering us intermittently for years, with light and ring main tripping. Exceptionally helpful and dedicated, my wife and I are very grateful.
Highly recommended, Many thanks, Rick Rastall, Roanheads Peterhead.

We were looking for an honest and reliable electrician to undertake a safety check of our recently purchased house in Peterhead. We were lucky to have found Faithful Spark Electricians. Steven attended to our request promptly and undertook the work as requested. He was polite and well presented and explained a few remedial tasks that were required, which Steven will return to undertake. Very happy with all aspects of his work and very reasonable rates.

I have no hesitation in giving Faithful Spark 5 stars. As a landlord I have had a lot of experience with tradesmen over the years, and I can honestly say my experience with Steven has been outstanding. The job I gave Steven was not an easy one and the communication has been exceptional, with Steven regularly keeping me up to date with progress and resolution to issues as they have arisen. I would not hesitate to recommend Faithful Spark as a top class electrician in the Aberdeenshire area.

We had a power outage that affected all the sockets downstairs, leaving us without hot water or heating on a Saturday afternoon. Steven came to our rescue promptly. He quickly provided a temporary fix for our heating and hot water, and then dedicated his weekend to finding the root cause of the issue.
Steven spent many hours over his weekend working diligently to restore our power. By Sunday evening, we had working power back downstairs. He also identified some underlying issues and will be returning to make additional repairs and recommend work to bring our system up to standard.
We are very grateful for Stevens dedication, expertise, and hard work. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety. Highly recommend his services!

We had a recent situation with our kitchen wiring which gave us cause for serious concern. I called Faithful Spark Electricians on a Sunday morning and Steven was there shortly afterwards to check it out. We had a new consumer unit fitted and wiring upgrades done within a week. We have never had them in before, but I must say, I am well impressed with the professional approach they showed to the job. No dramas, they just got on with it, did a great job, very tidy wiring, etc, tested everything and gave us a certificate of safety. Left the place tidy, and us with peace of mind knowing our wiring is now safe! We will be getting them back to do a few other jobs around the place. We highly recommend Faithful Spark Electricians, Thank you guys for helping us recently!
