Physivity - Stanmore Musculoskeletal Clinic
We are Physivity, a specialist MSK clinic in Stanmore offering physiotherapy, diagnostic ultrasound, image-guided procedures, dry needling and rehabilitation. Our approach begins with understanding your symptoms, assessing the relevant area and identifying factors that may be affecting your movement, recovery or daily life. We support people with joint, muscle, tendon, back and neck problems, injuries that have not settled as expected, changes in movement or strength, recovery following an operation, and difficulties returning to work, sport or other activities. A physiotherapy or specialist MSK assessment is often the appropriate starting point, so you do not need to decide in advance whether you require a scan or procedure.

Following assessment, we discuss suitable options with you and agree the next steps together. Physiotherapy programmes are tailored to individual needs and may include education, exercise, rehabilitation and appropriate hands-on care. Diagnostic MSK ultrasound may be available during the same visit where imaging is likely to provide useful information, subject to clinical need and availability. Image-guided procedures can be considered where appropriate after assessment, while dry needling may be used alongside rehabilitation for selected muscle and myofascial presentations. Our experienced clinicians have specialist interests in musculoskeletal assessment, rehabilitation and diagnostic ultrasound, and we offer appointments from Monday to Friday, as well as on Saturdays. We are committed to providing structured care that supports progress towards each patients goals.

Services
Physiotherapy We provide personalised physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal pain, injury and movement concerns. Our physiotherapists discuss your symptoms and goals, complete an appropriate assessment and explain suitable management options. Care may include education, activity advice, exercise, rehabilitation and appropriate hands-on treatment, with recommendations tailored to your individual presentation and progress.
MSK Ultrasound and Image Guided Procedures We provide specialist musculoskeletal ultrasound alongside a clinical assessment to examine selected muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and superficial soft tissues. Ultrasound offers real-time information where it is likely to assist assessment and management. Findings are interpreted alongside symptoms and examination results. Where appropriate, image-guided procedures are discussed following individual assessment and informed consent.
Dry Needling Our physiotherapists may incorporate dry needling into a broader rehabilitation programme when clinical assessment indicates that it may be suitable. The technique can be considered for muscle tightness, myofascial pain and other muscle-related difficulties, including those affecting movement or activity. We discuss expected short-term effects, aftercare and relevant risks, ensuring treatment remains part of an appropriate individualised plan.

I was struggling with shoulder pain that made everyday tasks difficult. The team took the time to understand my condition, explained everything clearly and created a treatment plan that really worked. I'm now back to exercising without discomfort.
