We use Sika Sarnafil membranes to provide durable flat-roofing solutions for commercial and private properties. Manufactured from PVC or FPO thermoplastics, the reinforced membranes are strong, flexible and hot-air welded without naked flames or hot bitumen. Their benefits include high chemical and fire resistance, recyclability, and the ability to be applied directly over existing substrates.
For suitable flat-roof restoration projects, we recommend systems according to the roof's condition, design and regulatory requirements. Sika Sarnafil adhered systems are generally preferred for their aesthetic qualities, adaptable design and suitability for complex shapes, as well as refurbishment of bitumen roofs. Following our survey, we specify requirements covering loading, thermal insulation, fire resistance, environmental factors, wind uplift and drainage.
Where a roof has reached the end of its service life, continued repairs may no longer be practical or economical. Following a comprehensive survey, serious deterioration may indicate that a complete strip and rebuild is required. We renew the system to current standards and can correct original design or material deficiencies. Thermal insulation may also be upgraded.
As approved Bauder contractors, we can provide access to advanced single-ply roofing technology for a range of roofing applications. Thermofol PVC offers a popular solution for new-build and refurbishment projects, including green roofs. The system incorporates a high-grade virgin polymer formulation with superior fire retardants and provides resistance to tears, punctures and European climate conditions.
We undertake specialist roof surveys designed to establish the condition and performance of roofing and waterproofing systems. Through visual inspections, moisture mapping, core sampling, flood testing and infrared imaging, we investigate visible and concealed defects. Our findings are presented in structured, evidence-based reports, helping with maintenance planning, quality assurance, insurance investigations and property assessment.

From the initial contact on 4 November 2020 to final inspection of the finished roof on 27 November 2020 Will and his staff provided a speedy, efficient and professional service. The quote was rapidly provided and clearly itemised. Before beginning on the new roof the work was discussed with us and clearly explained. At all stages the roofers answered any questions we had. After completion the site was left clean and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend Georgian Roofing to anyone looking for a first class service.
