We provide complete kitchen removal and responsible disposal as part of the preparation for your new installation. Our service includes appliance disconnection, removal of base and wall units, worktops and sinks. Materials are sorted for recycling where possible. We leave the area clean, safe and properly prepared for installation. 
Our plumbing and electrical preparation ensures that essential services are correctly positioned before kitchen installation begins. We manage sink and dishwasher water supplies, waste pipe connections, power points, socket relocation, extraction wiring and ducting routes. Where necessary, certified engineers also reposition gas connections, while marked-up site plans help the installation team work safely and accurately. 
We complete all plastering, rendering and wall preparation required for your kitchen installation. After removing the old units, we assess the walls and carry out any necessary remedial work, including patching, skimming, levelling and damp treatment. Surfaces are prepared to be level, dry and structurally sound before unit installation begins, helping achieve a professional finish. 
We provide comprehensive cabinet installation for kitchens supplied by major manufacturers and bespoke makers, including Wren, IKEA, Howdens and Magnet. The work incorporates base, wall, tall and larder units, alongside drawers, internal fittings and soft-close mechanisms. Each cabinet is carefully aligned, with doors, panels and hinges adjusted so that the completed installation is flush and functions smoothly. 
We undertake worktop fitting with a focus on accurate preparation and clean finishing. Each surface is measured and templated on site before being cut and profiled, including precise openings for sinks and hobs. Laminate, solid wood, quartz, granite, Corian, and compact laminate are available, while joints receive appropriate sealing and laminate surfaces can be finished with proprietary joining strips. 
Our team installs kitchen appliances carefully, whether they are integrated into cabinetry or fitted as freestanding units. We handle ovens, hobs, extractor hoods, dishwashers, washing machines, fridge-freezers and built-in appliances. Manufacturer guidelines are followed throughout, while electrical and plumbing connections are completed to current regulations. All installed appliances are tested before the service is finished. 
We undertake sink and tap plumbing connections using quality fittings and thorough installation methods. Our work includes sealing the sink into the worktop, connecting hot and cold water supplies, fitting waste traps and installing mixer, filter or boiling water taps. We also test the completed system for several minutes, checking each connection visually before signing off. 
We provide professional kitchen tiling and splashback installation as a standalone service, so a full kitchen installation is not required. Our work covers ceramic, porcelain, metro and large-format tiles, as well as glass and acrylic splashbacks. We prepare and prime walls, plan layouts carefully, fix tiles securely, grout surfaces and seal joints neatly. 
We can complete the decorating before kitchen units are installed and return afterwards for final touch-ups and woodwork painting. Our work encompasses wall and ceiling decoration, cabinet door repainting, skirting and woodwork painting, as well as feature and two-tone finishes. Existing kitchens can also be refreshed separately without any installation work.

We were not able to find a company capable not only install our Wren kitchen, but do the rest as well - tiling, decorating, removing the old kitchen, appliance connections etc. We chose Urban Kitchens to manage the entire renovation of our kitchen space. They also repainte the walls and replaced the engineered flooring. Everything was organised, completed on schedule and finished to a very high standard.

We purchased our IKEA kitchen in 2025 and it wasnt the easiest to install. Main reason is uneven walls in our victorian house and a few last-minute design changes. But Urban Kitchens team and specifically Anjey & Jacub (sorry if I misspell their names) handled everything professionally. They ensured every cabinet and panel lined up perfectly. I am really happy with the final look of my kitchen and highly recommend Urban Kitchens for Ikea kitchen installations.
