Our eye tests assess vision, determine prescriptions, and monitor changes over time using advanced OCT scans, digital retinal photography, and eye pressure measurements. Each assessment ensures accurate prescription advice and guidance on suitable lenses, while also providing insights into potential eye health concerns. 
At Specialeyes Eyecare in West London we provide a range of contact lenses. Contact lenses are not a one size fits all solution therefore it is important that you are assessed by qualified optometrist. Your eye health is our main priority therefore your eyes need to be assessed first and based on your optical heath, prescription and needs the optometrist can tailor a package to fit your lifestyle requirements.We also stock some lenses in our store and can supply lenses on the same day, subject to availability. We provide all types of contact lenses including monthly, dailies, coloured and extended range contact lenses. We also supply hard lenses and soft lenses.

These are the most common type of lenses in use today. As the name says, they are made from soft and flexible plastics that makes them easy to adjust to and more comfortable than other types of lenses.

Normally when you go to an optician, they would take approximately one week to get your glasses ready. This is because your glasses would need to be sent to a lab to be made. Once it has been made it will then be sent back to the optician for you to collect.At Specialeyes Eyecare optician in Shepherds Bush, we have a lab in our store in Shepherds Bush which means we can make your prescription glasses on the same day (in less than 15 minutes after your eyes examination). We can make most single vision prescriptions on the same day. If we do not have your lens in stock, we are able to order them and make them in store for you. This allows us to be more efficient and allows you to get your glasses at a faster time.
To be able to give you a faster service we have made partnerships with local lens manufacturing labs. This allows us to order custom-made lenses to a very high specification to suit your needs.

We can test your eyes in our Shepherds Bush brunch in West London to the standards that are set by the DVLA using our digital test chart and automated visual fields machine.Group 1
This group is for those who are driving for personal use for example driving your own car or motorbike. The standards for group 1 licenses are:
Minimum 6/12 on the Snellen/LogMAR scale. This can be achieved with or without glasses or contact lenses in one or both eyes
Adequate field of vision measured through visual fields testing.
Group 2
This group is for those who are driving for work, or for those who carry members for the public. This includes:
Bus drivers
HGV/LGV drivers
Train drivers
Mini cab drivers (PCO licences)
Taxi drivers
The standards that are set by the DVLA for group 2 drivers is higher than those for group 1 tests. Therefore not all Group 1 drivers are able to get a Group 2 licence. The standards for group 2 licenses are:

Im extremely pleased with the eye exam I had and the new prescription I received at Specialeyes Shepherds Bush. The exam was very thorough with the whole process and results explained. I needed specific lenses for my son's glasses that he'd broken, without which he could hardly see. He was taking he's exams the next day and new prescription glasses and lenses were made whilst I waited at a fraction of the cost that I was being told elsewhere. I urgently needed glasses as one pair were broken and the other pair lost. Specialeyes were utterly amazing, I received an immediate appointment, had a very thorough eye test and half an hour later I had two new pairs of very reasonable glasses. I live in Yorkshire and am visiting my family in London. Such was the attention to detail, professionalism and superb service, I will never go anywhere else when I need glasses in the future.

I cannot recommend these opticians enough! I went in with what I thought was a scratched cornea - they instead spent over an hour of their own time diagnosing and then solving the problem for me.Calm, polite and clearly love what they do, they walked me through each step with confidence - I felt like I learnt so much about my eyes in just one appointment! Ive been going to specsavers for years and I can honestly say Ive never been given the same amount of care, patience and consideration in my life. Would give them 10 stars if I could and they are officially my new opticians for life!

Today, I visited Specialeyes Eyecare for a retinal scan and general eye health check, and the experience was absolutely exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process, which I needed. I have been increasingly concerned about the amount of eye floaters in my vision, so to have been welcomed with such a thorough examination was great.
Even after the examination, everything was clearly explained to me and any further doubts answered. I left feeling confident about my eye health and impressed by the level of care and expertise. Highly recommended!

I dont know what to say, but Im going to say it. I was in a terrible mess my glasses form spec savers broke, I took hem back today to get them fixed. Although the break was as not fixable, they didnt help me l, and, I left the store with no glasses.
I walked further along the High Street and came across this opticians. They gave me an eye test, and two brand nee glasses on the spot.
It can see so clearly writing this review due to their help.
Not only that but they are really nice people to sit and chat too
Over all Id definatley recommend them.
They have long life customer in me now.
Please dont hesitate to try them, I can assure you, youll be extremely pleased with the service and the customer service.

Ive been wearing glasses for over 20 years and Ive been to many optician shops. Hayder is by far the best Optician! Hes meticulous, attentive, knowledgeable, goes above and beyond to find the best solution for my eye condition!

This is such a good optician. Friendly, family-run and obviously highly skilled. You really feel they want to help you rather than sell you high-priced stuff. I visited because I have mobility issues and my previous very good optician was tricky for me to reach. Im so pleased I made the switch. The varifocals they made for me are excellent, were delivered promptly and cost less than half what my previous optician would have charged. On the basis of this single experience I strongly recommend them
