After a lot of research we decided to book Pavecraft to block pave and redo our fencing on our front drive. I can't praise this company enough. Jimmy and his boys are fantastic and very professional. Pavecraft absolutely knocked it out of the park with our Hertfordshire garden and driveway makeover! I'm actually a repeat customer - they did our driveway before the pandemic hit, and it's still looking solid. So when it came to tackling our neglected garden, I gave them a call and they came over within a week.
Jimmy, the main man at Pavecraft, sat down with us back in January. He really listened to our ideas (even our not so good ones) and helped shape them into something doable. By late February, his crew was in full swing, and they wrapped it all up in about three weeks. What I loved most was how smooth it all felt. No drama, no fuss.
The lads on site were proper grafters. Each one seemed to have their own specialty, and Jimmy had them rotating in and out like a well-oiled machine. None of that stereotypical builder nonsense - no endless tea breaks or moaning. Instead, they'd check in if they needed to clarify anything and Jimmy would pop by daily to keep everything on track.
We did change our minds about a few things mid-project. Pavecraft was really flexible, but they were straight up about any cost implications and what you can and cannot get away with. They even talked us out of a few ideas that wouldn't have worked well in the long run. Honest advice, which I really appreciated.
There was a bit of mess during the work - can't avoid that. But the team was on it, clearing up quickly before passers-by started tutting – they probably did but whatever! They know their stuff, they work hard, and they genuinely seem to care about getting it right. I found Jimmys details through Trust a trader and asked him, and one other company for a quote. Jimmys was significantly lower.
As it was a major decision, I asked Jimmy if I could see some other driveways he’d worked on. He provided 3 and I actually managed to talk to 2 of the people, both of them sang his praises, although they did warn us he occasionally needed a bit of a nudge. This was really helpful to know as it allowed us to completely relax, even if nothing happened for a few days, and especially given he didn’t ask for any money up front !!!! Most unusual but appreciated
Throughout the process Jimmy was extremely helpful, patient and gave some great advice. And he always responded promptly
The work has now been completed and our driveway looks fantastic

I would highly recommend Jimmy and his team for your driveway. His team got to work quickly on day one and pulled out the existing driveway quickly to lay the new foundation, Jimmy was forthcoming with ideas and worked with us to get the finish we were after. Communication was good throughout and Jimmy was very focused on making sure we were happy with the job.

I am super pleased with my driveway. Jimmy and the boys worked at real pace and high quality. I checked in on them on the ring doorbell and was amazed at what a well oiled machine they were - real fast but tidy with it. The whole 75SQM front garden (Driveway, garden bushes and a front wall - dug out and rubbish removed in one day! - ready for stones and a new doorstep to go down just as quick. The quality of the work looks excellent and I have no reason to think it won't last the test of time. Im annoyed that I didn't take a 'before' shot to go with the 'after'.

I don't normaly recomend services or companies as my experiences will not be the same as others, however PaveCraft have created an amazing drive and totaly transformed the front garden and drive of my property.
Jimmy and his team worked tirelessly, completing the transformation in less than five days. The only down side is that I didn't take a before picture of a very tired and scruffy front garden.

We had three things done: fence, patio and turf. Really impressed with how quickly everything was done and the final result.
