We found out we had a water leak. We contacted the company on a Friday morning and Moe came on Monday afternoon on time and find our water leak within the hour in our front garden. Due to Christmas and New Year break the repair was done on 6th of January. The plumbers came as arranged on time and all was repaired within the hour from when the work started. Moe came round after downstairs found a leak while we were having some work done upstairs. He was able to quickly get up to speed with the issue and came up with a solution. After testing a few things he found the issue and was very knowledgeable about how and why it had happened and took the time to describe it all to me as someone who knows nothing about plumbing. Moe arrived the day after I had called to make an appointment. He quickly found the location of the water leak, whilst explaining in detail what he was doing and why including the change in pressure readings, and associated damp readings in the walls close to the location of the leak which was further evidence.

I used the guys at Specialist Leak Detection, I would like to say that from start to finish I have no reservation in recommending this Company. From the initial contact and booking the home visit, it went very smoothly, the engineer Moe arrived on time, introduced himself and explained what he would be doing at during every step. Moe located the water meter and ascertained there was not any leak between the meter and the mains cold water isolating valve under the kitchen sink. Moe ran a pressure test on the mains cold water Eventually finding a small drip on the water feed to the toilet cistern. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Absolutely amazing service from Moe from start to finish. Mo came out on a Sunday for an emergency heating leak because our boiler pressure was dropping. Moe come out and found the leak within an hour and had it fixed all within 1 visit. I couldn't recommend Leak Detection 247 enough for their services ! Losing boiler pressure at 0.7 per day in late Autumn was a problem that needed addressing. The naked eye could not solve it and when Mo (of Leak detection) applied his process infusing into the heating system an hydrogen/nitrogen gas to detect the problem the answer was an emphatic victory. I contacted this company late at night following a major leak in my kitchen area. I had previously tried to look for more local leak detection teams in Essex area. The first two google verified ones were not very helpful with one being a no show and the other having bad reviews. I then stumbled across this one. My query was dealt with by Moe who was extremely helpful. He booked me in for a 48h emergency call out straightaway and I had him at my property the very next morning.

He found the leak alongside my plumber using his leak detection equipment and even guided my plumber to do his job of excavation. The charges for the job were very reasonable with no extra hidden costs. Moe also gave me suggestions on other problems around the house that I thought might be related to the leak. I cannot recommend him enough. Will definitely be calling him out in the future for more jobs if needed.

Moe came out for us following a leak we appeared to have. Was here at the time he said he would be as well. He checked the property inside and out and has now identified where the leak is. Mo was fantastic- super friendly guy first of all but also solved a mystery that we have struggled with for 4 months. We noticed our boiler kept losing pressure very slowly every two weeks or so after having our bathroom redone and a new radiator put in. Plumber that did the work and British Gas couldnt figure out the issue. Mo used thermal and moisture readings to find a small patch down in our lounge where the same pipes connected upstairs to the bathroom. Turns out when the property was originally built over ten years ago, a nail from the skirting had gone in to a pipe and recent work we had done had caused movement starting the leak very slowly. Mystery solved- thank you Mo! Total legend!
