We hired Alpha BC to carry out a full home renovation, including the bathroom, kitchen, and living room. A 5,000 deposit was paid upfront for the project.
Due to the bathroom taking over ten months to complete due to poor workmanship and numerous workers Alpha BC agreed in writing to repay the deposit in two instalments during October. These payments were not received, and our subsequent attempts to contact the company have not been answered. He has now blocked both mine and my wife's phone numbers.
This has been a stressful experience over the past year, and we are now pursuing recovery of the 5,000 deposit through the Simple Procedure process.

Peter and the team renovated our 1930s apartment from May to July 2025. We can't praise them highly enough - on time, in budget, professional work and great suggestions along the way. In addition they were all lovely people and never once complained about the difficult access and working conditions in our building. We are delighted with the results. If only all building firms were this good!
