Absoloute liers. Cancel operations at the very very ladt minute by lieing. Probably making way for someone who is paying private. 2 weeks isolation. 18 negative covid tests( 1 everyday and 2 each day at the run up to operation). Christmas spent isolating so no family time(still got wrapped presents) Their test come up + but lateral flow 1 hour later is still - DO NOT ISOLATE BEFORE GOING THERE AS THEY WILL MAKE UP THEIR OWN MINDS ANYWAY. Well what can I say, firstly I got home from hospital on Saturday after having my operation, I can honestly say I have never met such an amazing team of hospital staff,from the receptionists to the medical team, I forgot to get everyone’s name but here is just a few I did get,who I’d like to thank Anaesthetic ODP Michael Connolly, who was so… professional yet caring and very understanding of my needs ( nerves ) Anaesthetist.....James Wilson for being such an amazing person, yet very professional Recovery nurse , Julie Ginger , who is a super star. Absolutely amazing treatment and care. I was treat under the NHS here and i felt truly blessed. Each and every member of staff who looked after me cared. The anesthetist, surgeon, nurses and student nurse were amazing. Right from assessment to treatment I knew they had my best interests and wamted to make be better. Been calling private patient booking line since 12pm and on 10 occasions was kept on hold and eventually disconnected! Eventually got through to reception and was told the lady on private bookings was working from home... Guess what.... She isn't!!! Told I would get a call back.... Its nearly 5pm and still waiting.... Disgraceful!!!

I have been a patient at Fulwood Hall Hospital for the past two years, just undergone surgery and now home recuperating. I cannot recommend Fulwood Hall enough, from the admissions team to the discharge team,anaesthetists,catering,hcas, nursing,a fantastic consultant Mr Boden and all of the other staff who took care of me during my 4 days there. I… was put at ease throughout, explained all procedures and processes and I cannot thank them enough. The food was delicious and I would have eaten it all if my appetite would have been better. All I can say is that the level of care is outstanding

I was admitted for surgery here last weekend, from start to finish everything was exquisite. Extra special thanks to nurse Julia who reassured me when I was anxious on the morning of surgery. The anaesthetist Jay who made me feel comfortable and talked me through every step and to nurse Sonia on the night shift after I had a complication and had to… be returned to theatre she was amazing and attended to me all night, she truly went above and beyond and ensured I was comfortable. she is an absolute credit to the profession and the hospital. I was admitted to Fulwood Hall Hospital, on Tues, 6th July, 2021 to undergo knee replacement surgery. I found all the staff to be professional, empathetic and the most caring group of people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From receptionist to surgeon, nothing was too much trouble. My partner had a hip replacement surgery yesterday by Mr George McLaughlan and is up walking relatively pain free and feeling fantastic after two months of agony! I was admitted for spinal surgery on Tuesday. Every single member of the team from reception to catering, nurses to theatre staff, everyone was so compassionate, caring and warm. They went above and beyond, making my experience so much more calm. I was so frightened yet all the care surrounding me helped me so much. to top it off, my room was super clean and the food was fabulous! Special thanks to nurses Helen, Sue, Victoria, Abbey and Aysha, although everyone was superb!

An amazing place. Great building and surrounding area. The staff go above and beyond for you. They make you feel like your a member of their family as they show so much compassion and commitment to each patient. Good job we can't hug at the minute other wise I would of not let go of a couple of people in particular. it was sad to say goodbye. they lift your spirits mentally and emotionally just when you need it and it helps with recovery . litrally haven't stopped telling people how amazing this place is.

I have just had a hip replaced performed at Fulwood Hall Hospital & It was such a positive experience. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were all so caring, polite & friendly. They answered any questions & allayed any fears. Gave advice when asked & offered support & kindness naturally.
