Deanswood Equestrian Centre is based at Cressing Park farm, we have been running the yard since the beginning of 2012 and are delighted have such a lovely and friendly place for our horses and clients. Whether you have never ridden before, been out of the saddle a while or are looking to improve your current riding then we can help.
We teach any age or ability. We have horses & ponies available for share, you will get to have the feeling of owing your own horse without the full commitment and costs. Become a part of the adult riding club and learn about stable management, ride, socialise and have fun!

Deanswood Equestrian Centre provides a lovely home for your horse and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for you. Experienced and knowledgable staff are always on hand to offer help where required. Facilities - Outdoor floodlit school, Indoor school, AI instructors, Lorry/trailer parking, toilet, tea room, other services available on request.
Adult Riding

Deanswood are proud to cater for all ages and abilities and believe that everyone should be able to enjoy our horses and ponies, from the smallest children, to the oldest adults. Therefore we not only cater for children with lots of different options, but we have the same for adults too!
There really is something for everyone, whether you want to ride and dash off with just a lesson, or hang about and learn about stable management with the adult riding club, or come for a social where you can spend time with our horses, groom them, socialise and relax, you have the option to ride, or if you're unsure about riding and want to just do everything else then that is fine too!

Adult Coffee Mornings

Deanswood are pleased to offer you time to spend with our lovely horses grooming them and teaching you how to tack up then ride. What a better way then to finish of the experience with tea and cake! If you do not wish to ride that's also fine it will just be a small fee of 20 for all the same experience without the need to ride.
Pony Club

To promote high ideals of sportsmanship, loyalty and citizenship, cultivating strength of character and self discipline. Members are encouraged to take an interest in their work and improve their knowledge by working towards their pony club standards of efficiency tests, of which there are eight beginning with the E test and culminating with the prestigious A test.

Join The Team Dean share team and enjoy the full experience of owning a horse but at a fraction of the cost! Whether you are wanting to just ride for fun and enjoy being around horses or you are looking to buy a horse and want to smooth the transition into horse ownership, we can help you.
On your chosen days you can ride for up to 45 mins each day, we also give you the option to go out to shows where you can compete locally at show jumping or dressage.We have several different horses and ponies, All of them are lovely, kind and extremely well schooled, but they all have different personalities and ride differently, so we can see how you get on and match you with a perfect horse or pony.
