Mooi designed and consulted on our house renovation. Mid century two story house, their style matched it perfectly and allowed the original features to shine through with great modernisation touches.
They were also able to work with us on multiple options and phases to make sure the budget held!

Excellent experience of working with Aidan from Mooi on our basement extension and refurbishment. Living in central Cambridge in a listed building he had to design within tight constraints but he was still able to create a fun and very practical solution. His good working relationship with other members of project team ( structural engineers, builders etc) was very beneficial to the project and my family and I are delighted with the finished product.

We thought very carefully about who to choose as an architect. We were planning a large renovation to our house in central Cambridge which would take just under a year. Having had no experience with this before and with a very specific budget with little margin for errors we met several architects from larger firms before meeting Aidan at MOOi. The first time we met him was a revelation. He looked though our house and came up with grand ideas that we would never have imagined (think an entire wall of glass, a blue staircase and turning a study into a bathroom!). Aidan at Mooi was selected based on reputation and being a design led architect who would add value to a high end / contemporary design & build project. The scheme encompassed a large new-build garden room / entertaining space / AV room featuring architectural glazing, zinc roofing glass and zinc cladding. Additionally complete modernisation of the original building across ground and first floors, external works, reconfiguring spaces and some structural alterations, newly located kitchen , several bathrooms

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Aidan at MOOi and we’re delighted with the house that we have as a result.
Whilst Aidan joined us relatively late in our project, he helped with planning permission amendments and adding the final details and material choices that made our house look great. He’s been a massive help in finding the right products and was extremely useful when liaising with our builder to solve problems and get the right attention to detail.
