Contact us today to organise a face to face interview, at your convenience - we understand how hard it can be to find time for interviews whilst still working at your current employment, and are happy to meet with you outside of normal working hours. Your DBS check (previously CRB check) if you have one - if its older than 12 months, and not registered on the update service, you will need to do a new one.

Rosebud Nanny Agency also offers a babysitting service. Whether you are looking for a regular babysitter, or have been let down last minute, we can help. All of our babysitters are fully qualified or hold a minimum of two years solid experience in childcare. They all have a current first aid certificate and are DBS checked (criminal record checked).

Children under the age of 11 have different nutritional needs than adults. Children between 5 and 11 years of age should be consuming around 1800 calories per day, including 220g of carbohydrates and 70g of fat. They can eat a lot of the same meals you yourself would eat, but you should never add salt whilst cooking for children, and should avoid foods naturally high in salt.

As a rule of thumb, 8 weeks is about perfect. This allows a couple of weeks to find and interview candidates, and once an offer is made, allows the nanny to work out her notice period at her previous employment (usually 4/6 weeks). However, as soon as you know you need a nanny, it is wise to start the process.
