Powell is a progressive interior design, fit out and refurbishment company that specialise in creating inspiring and sustainable working environments. Our chairman, Mr Richard Powell, started the Cardiff design practice over 45 years ago as Richard H. Powell and Partners Limited. Today, our clients simply refer to us as "Powell".

Our journey started over 45 years ago when Richard Powell formed the design practice from a small office based in Penarth, South Wales.
Richard has always had a keen eye for outstanding design and architecture, and in the early years Richard and his team secured contracts with several major clients including the Department of the Environment and Ministry of Transport, which was the first multi-storey building in Wales with an incredible sixteen floors.

Workplace consultancy - this is our specialty. We undertake a broad assessment of your building, understanding exactly how your people work and identify areas of inefficiencies through your office. We suggest ways to reduce overheads and recognise future work patterns and styles. We do this in the form of surveys and employee questionnaires, producing a detailed report into your current working environment with future recommendations.
