We offer formal dance training in many styles from our dance studio facilities located in Highbridge, Somerset. Classes run for all ages and abilities by our fully qualified and experienced staff. We are pleased to offer students the opportunity to take examinations, perform in shows, at events and compete in dance festivals within our local area.
Whether you are just starting out for fun, or looking to embark on a career in the performing arts we have classes to suit all! With the easing of restrictions we are able to make more spaces available in many of our classes. However, we will still be capping our classes at a reasonable number. All students attending class must be booked in prior to attendance so that we can keep track of numbers in each session.

Our Classes
Report
We run classes for pre-school children from age 18 months & upwards. Starting with our introductory class "Dancing Together" where children are assisted by a parent/guardian throughout. Once confident to be in the studio independently, students can attend our popular pre-school ballet or modern sessions.
Teachers

Lisa's teaching career started when she qualified as an ISTD modern, tap and ballet teacher after training at the Janet Marshall Dance Studios in Cheltenham. Whilst completing these qualifications, she also embarked on her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dance.
Keen to provide students with a wide variety of classes to enjoy, Lisa has also trained in the acrobatic arts syllabus, a certified Progressing Ballet Technique teacher and an instructor for Darcey Bussell's Dance fitness programme, DDMIX.She is also a registered teacher with the I-Path syllabus for musical theatre.

Exams
Report
Students get the opportunity to take exams with the RAD & ISTD when deemed ready by their teacher. Exams are conducted by external examiners on various dates throughout the academic year. It is not compulsory to take exams, but if a student shows good ability, it is encouraged as it provides a focus and gives a sense of achievement.

Please wear something suitable to move in so you can join in safely with our taster sessions. Ballet, modern & acro sessions can be done in bare feet.
