We've welcomed visitors to the tranquillity and calm of Woodland Holiday Park since 1972, when local farmers Edward and Jill Harrison bought the woods adjacent to their land and decided to set up a basic touring park. Fifty years on, Woodland Holiday Park is a luxury holiday home complex set in 80 acres of beautiful rural surroundings with a team of 30 dedicated staff.

It's well documented that spending time in a natural environment has a positive effect on our emotional and physical wellbeing: it reduces blood pressure, muscle tension and boosts our mood. The trees in our mature woodland include oak, beech, Scots Pine and horse chestnut; plant species range from ferns and mosses to blackthorn and rhododendrons.

Woodland Holiday Park is taking part in the David Bellamy 'Blooming Marvellous Pledge for Nature' under the heading 'Home Sweet Home'. This means we are committed to give our wildlife a helping hand by setting up a range of new houses for them around the park. These will be a mixture of bird and bat boxes.
