We are a small business based in rural Norfolk, with the expansive beaches of the beautiful North Norfolk coast close by, the open farmland to the west and the ancient city of Norwich to the east. All of our designs are created in Norfolk and are inspired by Birdie's travels across the globe.
The studio is filled with a constantly evolving collection of photographs, sketches and scraps of fabric from far off places which are pored over every season for fresh inspiration.The design process starts with rough sketches of patterns and shapes which are gradually refined, added to, coloured and refined again.

Alongside the shop, Birdie offers an interior design consultancy service. Whether for interior inspiration or a complete design project, Birdie and her experienced team are always thrilled to share their knowledge of interiors and antiques. Birdie's passion for interior design developed from an early age and was enhanced during her time at Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler in her 20's.
