We used Gary to design and fit a bespoke staircase in our house a few months ago.
5 star service all round. From lots of back and forth on the design, amendments after fitment (things that were outside of Garys control but he rectified for free anyway) and came in within budget. Hillside Joinery really go the extra mile, very hard workers!

David Sims of Hillside Joinery designed and built a beautiful oak bookcase for us. His advice during the design phase was invaluable, and he took a great deal of care to make sure that the finished result would meet our expectations. In fact, it has exceeded them. The bookcase is genuinely beautiful, and it is wonderful to have an example of such craftsmanship to enjoy in our home for years to come. I cannot recommend David, or Hillside Joinery, highly enough.

I cannot recommend this company enough. We struggled to find a company who would come onsite and help re-design our 1970s staircase. We did have to pre-book Hillside Joinery's time in advance due to them being busy, but they were willing to work to our deadlines (mainly being the birth of our baby boy!) where possible. Gary spent a lot of time coming up with different options of staircase configuration which would fit into the space and was so accommodating with our queries and deliberation. He gave us so much of his time in the evenings during the design phase and the work was completed quickly
