Questions

What campervan models do you offer?

We exclusively hire Auto-Trail 2 and 4-berth models, renowned for their quality, space, and versatility. All vehicles are new or under 16 months old with less than 30,000 miles.

Can I hire a campervan for less than a week?

While we recommend weekly bookings during July and August, we'll consider shorter hires. Flexible weekday start/end options available year-round subject to availability.

Are pets allowed in your campervans?

Yes, we actively encourage pet-friendly travel. Our campervans accommodate dogs, with many recommended destinations offering pet facilities. No additional charges apply.

What payment options do you accept?

Bookings require a 25% deposit (minimum £200) with full payment 28 days prior. We accept bank transfers and major credit/debit cards for deposits and balances.

Do you offer insurance options?

A £750 damage deposit covers insurance excess. Customers can reduce this by providing proof of their own insurance damage waiver coverage before hire commencement.

What areas do you serve?

Our Midlands depot covers Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Northants, Birmingham, and Coventry. The South East depot serves Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, and Greater London.

This was our first attempt at ‘Campervanning’ and Richard has been of great assistance from our initial enquiry to when we returned the van earlier today. Our trip was not without incident and Richard was always on the end of the phone to answer any queries that we had, all of which were resolved. Our trip to the South-West and use of the extremely well equipped van, has certainly given us ‘food for thought’ for our future camper-van plans.

For free camping in the wilds of the Scottish Islands and Highlands this van was great. Easy to book and pick up. Great van - only 2500miles on the clock. Loads of space. Good quality finish. Well stocked. Easy to drive. Fridge, oven/hob, shower and toilet all easy to use. Would book again.

We have just spent the last 2 weeks, travelling through England & Scotland in a 'Lovely Campervan', and it does it's name justice. We have had the most amazing trip and experience. The van is brand new and drives so well. We have hired many campervans in different countries and this is by far the smartest designed van, and best company we have ever hired from. The whole experience with David & Richard has been so personal, they are friendly & make the process so easy. We couldn't recommend 'Lovely Campervans' highly enough, and wish David & Richard all the very best. We will be back next year

We hired the van for 3 nights for a birthday trip in April and the whole experience was wonderful. Booking and communication with the owners was great - we were given lots of advice as we were campervan virgins and this made the whole experience stress-free. The van was well equipped, clean and tidy and a fantastic temporary home for us and our dog. With just over 10,000 miles on the clock the van was easy to drive, and even emptying the loo wasn't too bad! We'll definitely be back some time soon.
