We are immensely proud of our kind, good natured horses and offer riding for everyone - from complete beginner to the more advanced. Tuition is available from our instructors with facilities including an outdoor floodlit arena, grass field, a set of show jumps and beautiful hacking. Being a registered Pony Club Centre, there are plenty of activities available for horse mad children!

What started out as a hobby gradually grew into a business and is now a thriving Cotswold riding school. It is a way of life for us and our son Jake who is BVEC born and bred! Over the years BVEC has grown from a small livery and riding school to a saddle club with around 50 members and a hugely popular tourist activity.
How To Find Us

Please DO NOT rely on sat-navs or Google Maps to find us. Please use the postcode GL54 2HN and Coach and Horses Inn as the destination or it might send you to the footpath at the other end of the farm! We are almost opposite the Coach and Horses, the sign on the road is The Cotswold Brew company and you will see ours as you turn off the main road.

There are two hand sanitising stations either side of the car park area - please use them on arrival and departure. There is another one on the yard - please use before and after getting on/off the horse. Please do not enter the office - the paperwork and card machine will be brought out to you. Our toilet is closed to the public, so please take this into consideration however in an emergency you must follow the instructions on the door.

Tuition is available from qualified instructors with facilities including an outdoor floodlit arena, grass field, a set of show jumps and beautiful hacking. These are an hour long circular rides around the Cotswold villages of Lower and Upper Slaughter for people who have ridden before, and must be able to walk and trot independently as the guide is on a horse and unable to physically help you.
Pony Club

Being a registered Pony Club Centre, there are plenty of activities available for horse-mad children! During the holidays, we have "own a pony" days, pony camps and rallies. The Pony Club is the largest association of riders in the world. It provides young riders up to the age of 25 with the opportunity to learn about all kinds of sport connected with ponies and riding, horsemanship skills and how to properly care for animals.
