Our in-house graphic designer has over 30 years experience in the print and design industry and is able to draw on a wealth of knowledge to create your logo and artwork for your stationery or brochures. We use Industry Standard recognised design and layout applications that guarantee what we produce will be what you receive as your final product.

At Baker Press we believe in being flexible - we understand the demand for print can vary which is why we can handle short and long run jobs. For short run colour work (anything up to 1000 A4 or 2000 A5) we have a state-of-the-art Konica Minolta bizhub pro Digital Printer. This is ideal for printing full colour leaflets, brochures, menus, or just about anything that requires a quick turnaround.

Biographies, memoirs, poetry books, toy or model collector catalogues, children's colouring books. We can produce your book from your basic text document, add photographs and illustrations where required and any graphics that are required to enhance the cover. Run lengths can be short and from as few as ten, without the expense of plates as we can print digital.

Although we can handle a number of different file formats it will be helpful if you follow these guidelines to ensure your job proceeds quickly. We can accept standard data CDs and DVDs as well as USB Memory or Pen sticks. Files up to 10Mb can usually be emailed to us but this will depend on your internet service provider's mailbox limitations.

Here at Baker Press we can provide you with a professional, competitive design service but, if you would prefer to provide your own artwork, here are a few tips we'd like to share with you to make sure that what we print is what you are expecting.

Whatever package you use to produce your artwork, be it Microsoft Word, Publisher or a professional package such as Adobe Indesign or QuarkXpress, we would like you to supply us with a print-ready CMYK PDF.Producing artwork in an image editing package such as Microsoft Paint or Adobe Photoshop is not advisable as any text will not be crisp and sharp - it is also not possible for us to edit these files if we need to for any reason.
