Pennine Country Store

Pennine Country Store was established in 2006 by Dianne Ashmore, building on nearly three decades of industry experience to become a trusted provider of agricultural, livestock, pet, and equestrian supplies. Located in the picturesque village of Hood Green near Sheffield, South Yorkshire, the business offers a comprehensive range of products including animal feeds, health supplies, farm equipment, and country goods. Our team combines deep sector knowledge with a commitment to quality, stocking trusted brands like Heygates, Agrobs, and Downland while maintaining a focus on customer service and local delivery. With a heritage rooted in family-run operations, we prioritise practical solutions tailored to the needs of farmers, pet owners, and equestrian enthusiasts across South Yorkshire and beyond. Our facilities include a retail outlet stocked with specialist feeds, fencing materials, silage products, and equine care items, alongside expert advice on animal nutrition and farm management.

We maintain partnerships with industry leaders to ensure product reliability and technical support, while our AMTRA SQP accreditation underscores our expertise in animal health. Through consistent investment in stock diversity and staff training, we aim to meet evolving agricultural demands while preserving the personal service ethos that defines our business. Our operating hours reflect community needs, with extended weekend availability during peak seasons. By integrating traditional practices with modern agricultural innovations, we support both smallholdings and commercial enterprises in achieving productivity and animal welfare goals. Customer testimonials highlight our knowledgeable team, competitive pricing, and the convenience of one-stop shopping for rural professionals and hobbyists alike.
