It started as an intriguing friendship when, at university, I was first introduced to its magic. As often happens, the friendship developed into a tentative romance, as the delicious possibilities of weaving and textile design were laid out before me. After university, during my time as textile designer with a well - established company, this fledgling love took flight.

Breathless, I realised that I was in the throes of an enduring passion. With extensive experience in the textile industry Jurate ("Jacky") Jakstaite has been designing and selling her own products in the UK and overseas since 2012.
