Literally translated as "Meadow by the River" the park offers a relaxing and secluded riverside location set in a stunningly beautiful wooded valley. We have a large choice of New and Used luxury holiday homes available to view with a choice of riverside or open countryside plots. All our plots benefit from concrete pitches with pipe gas, electric, water, Bt connection and spacious gardens.

Set in 55 acre's, bordering the River Rhiew, Maes Yr Afon offers both beautiful riverside plots, and plots with magnificent views over the open countryside and pretty wooded valley set in the heart of Mid Wales. We have been a family run park for 30 years and take great pride in maintaining the park to the very highest of standards.

Whether you are a rambler or an angler Maes Yr Afon is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the spectacular Mid Wales countryside. Our one and a half mile stretch of private river offers a beautiful wooded walking trail and the opportunity for fresh water fishing. We also have a well stocked fishing pool on park which has just recently been re stocked.

Maes Yr Afon is well placed for exploring the delights of Mid Wales, it is only an hours drive from the Midlands and one and a half hours from Cheshire and the North. The historic market town of Welshpool is only a ten minute drive away, with a range of shops, eating places and attractions for all the family.
