Students study a level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance validated by Trinity College London since 2012. Students are assessed on the Dance and Ballet performance internally in the Ballet School and on the stage as well as, in Integrated Professional Studies. Kate Simmons and her team have been training dancers and teachers for thirty years in KS Dance Senior Programme. Based in Warrington, Cheshire (with easy access to the cities of Manchester and Liverpool) The college has an excellent reputation for the quality of its training as well as its Graduates' employment and pastoral care.

Through our performances with Allegrodance local children in these areas are able to experience dance and performance for the first time. For a lot of these children it is their vital link with the arts and theatre. It is also a wonderful experience for the students to engage with the mix of audiences.

Our dance course at KS Dance is intricately tailored to ensure the highest standard of dance training is maintained for the aspiring dancer or dance teacher. Whether you aspire to be a Classical Ballet Dancer, Contemporary Dancer, work in the West End or pursue a Commercial Dance Career, KS Dance is the place for you.
Fees and Funding

Audition Fees are 40. Auditions include a Ballet Class, Jazz Class and an informal Interview with our School Principal to discuss the Dancer's ambitions and Goals. Once you have confirmed your place there will be a non-refundable deposit requested along with signed paperwork given to you in our welcome documents.

A high standard of dance must be displayed at the audition and audition candidates should already be training at an advanced level. The course places great emphasis on the fine-tuning and training of dancers. The main subjects are Ballet training, including pointe work, repertoire, boys work, pas de deux, virtuosity, Jazz dance including Commercial dance and Contemporary dance.
